What is Eurohockey Watch?
Eurohockey Watch forecasts European hockey. It simulates thousands of possible outcomes for a league's season using statistical and machine-learning models, then turns that into standings, playoff odds, and championship forecasts.
How are the forecasts made?
Every player's history is translated into one standardized power projection. Those power projections feed a simulation that plays out the season thousands of times, and the results are summarized as mean finishes and title probabilities. See About for the full breakdown.
Which leagues does Eurohockey Watch cover?
Eurohockey Watch is starting with Finland's Liiga. SHL, NL, DEL, and Extraliga are planned next.
How accurate are the forecasts?
They're simulations, not certainties. Eurohockey Watch names a favorite while also showing how open or settled the race really is. Forecasts are provided for informational and entertainment purposes and shouldn't be used for betting or wagering. See our Terms of Use for the full disclaimer.
